2020 IMMAF world senior & junior Championships

Overview:

The IMMAF World Amateur MMA Championships returned to Manama this November from 11 to 16, as part of BRAVE International Combat Week, for the third year running.

The World Championships featured 332 Seniors and 120 Juniors, with a total of 452 athletes competing from 51 nations.

Bahrain also played host to the 2019 IMMAF MMA Awards.

Key Facts:

At the time, this was the largest MMA event in term of the number of competitors over 18 years of age, ever staged.

A record 98 bouts were completed in just one day.
